  • Excellent place to escape the heat of the tropics! Beautiful bush walks to abandoned Tim mines and great fun playing in the lake. If you are lucky, an early morning kayak will allow you to see the platypus!

  • Swimming hole was the best we have seen. Cold showers. Level sites. Watch for mozzies. Quiet. Lovely NP.

  • Fantastic place to visit to escape the North Queensland heat for a while. Plenty of different walking tracks depending on your skill level and time available. There are two main venues at Paluma for conferences, both well appointed for the area. Live in the clouds and see what a rainforest in the dry tropics looks like
